join the CPResearch
panel is strictly
confidential – we
will only use it to
assist us in
determining who gets
the various
questionnaires and
for helping our
clients categorize
the results.

opinions of people
across the country
about new and
existing products
and services that
are used on a daily
basis. If you have
ever wondered how
new product s are
developed or how
services are being
improved, CPResearch
has been a leading
market research
company that works

service companies,
advertising agencies

marketing research
companies) all over
the world. We help

out what consumers

Q:
How long are the
surveys?
A:
The number of
surveys that you
will participate in
over a year’s time
will fluctuate, as
our profession is
very cyclical.
Sometimes you may
complete 5-10
surveys over an
eight-week time
frame and other
times you may only
complete 2 or 3.
The length of the
survey can vary
depending on our
clients’ needs as
well as your
answers. On average,
the length of the
survey will take
approximately 10
minutes to complete.
Of course, some
surveys will be
shorter and others
longer. Whatever the
length, you will be
compensated for your
time.

What do I do if my
registration
information changes
or I no longer want
to belong to the
CPResearch panel?

All changes and
cancellations to the
panel can be relayed
to us via email

Q:
Why would I come to
your office and why
can’t I do this from
my computer?
A:
The CPResearch panel
is unique in the web
world – we not only
take your opinion on
the Web, but we also
may need to actually
talk with you on the
phone or in our
offices. Sometimes
we have things that
simply cannot be
seen or tasted using
the Web – we
sometimes have
prototype products
that only one or two
of these items exist
in the world and we
may ask you to come
to our office to
evaluate the
product. Other
times such as food
products will be
tested and we need
to have you come to
a controlled
environment to taste
a product that has
been specially
prepared by our
clients’ chefs.
At times, we may
need to telephone
you to discuss your
opinion. We have
found that certain
types of questions
cannot be answered
by yourself – we
need to have
professional
interviewers work
through your answers
to get the best
possible answers to
give to our clients
who make the
decisions about
these new products.
(What do you LIKE
about this new
product? What do
you mean by the
TASTE? And what did
you mean about the
APPEARANCE of it?
Etc.
And other times, you
may have the
opportunity to join
a focus group
discussion to really
give your opinion
for 90 minutes to 2
hours with 10 or so
other persons just
like yourself.
Imagine sitting in a
round table
discussion that is
led by a
professional
moderator. These
discussions are
video taped and
often wind up in the
Board Room of major
Corporations where
YOUR opinion is
actually heard by
the people who make
decisions about new
products and new
services!!
Of course, if you
are invited to come
to our offices, you
will money as a
thank you for your
opinions (the amount
depends on the
length of time you
are in our office,
the subject matter
and how few people
own a particular
product.)

Q:
What happens after I
join?
A:
We will send you an
e-mail welcoming you
to the panel. After
that, we'll contact
you periodically by
e-mail to ask you to
take part in a
survey. The e-mail
will contain all the
information you need
to participate,
including the URL
web-site to visit to
take the survey.
Q:
Do I have to pay
anything to join?
A:
No, membership is
free. And please
remember -- We will
never ask you for
money, or try to
sell you anything.
We are only
interested in your
opinions. And then,
we will PAY YOU for
your opinions!!
Q:
How much time will
this take?
A:
As a panel member,
you will usually
participate in
several surveys a
year – sometimes
there may be more
surveys and other
times, there may be
few surveys.
Often, you may be
asked 4 or 5
questions to
determine if you are
the person who we
want to survey –
this is not a
survey, but rather a
“screening
questionnaire” that
will ask you about
product usage and
some classification
information. Many
times, we are
looking for certain
kinds of persons who
our clients know buy
their products.
Once you start the
survey, the average
survey will take 10
minutes or so to
complete, and the
questions are
usually easy to
answer.
Regardless of your
completion of the
screening questions
or the actual
interview, you WILL
be entered into the
drawing – however,
those who complete
the screening
questions will have
a lower chance in
the drawing and
those who complete a
10 minute interview
will have 10 times
the chance to win
while those who
complete a longer
interview (say 15
minutes) will have a
15 times chance to
win.
Q:
How can I change my
registration
information?
A:
If you change your
e-mail address,
please
send us the new
address
so you can hear
about upcoming
surveys and remain
eligible for prizes
and rewards. We will
verify your new
address and ask for
any updated
household
information.
If any of your
personal details,
such as your
address, have
changed,
please e-mail us
with a note of the
changes.
If you wish to leave
the panel and not
participate in
market research
surveys,
contact us.
Q:
What if I don't want
to do a particular
survey?
A:
We will never
pressure you to
complete a survey.
Hopefully, you will
be able to respond
to the next survey.
But please remember
– some surveys may
be more interesting
to you than others.
And that is what
marketing research
is about – the
people who produce
products and
services for YOU
want to know what
you think. So here
is the chance to
